General[edit | edit source]
The fine art of Swordsmanship is a skill to be admired. It is one of several Combat Skills in Legends of Ultima, and employs neither the wallop-on-the-head approach of the mace fighter, nor the poking thrust of the fencer. Instead, swordsman use their weapon to slash through their opponents!
A master of the blade, those skilled in Swordsmanship will require Strength and Dexterity in order to wield heavy blades (and axes) and swing them swiftly.
Weapons[edit | edit source]
Swordsman use various blades and axes to vanquish their foes.
Lumberjacking Damage Bonus[edit | edit source]
The Lumberjacking skill provides a damage bonus when swordsmen wield axes.
The damage bonus provided by Lumberjacking is calculated using the following formulas:
- Lumberjacking Skill < 100.0
LumberjackingDamageBonus = LumberjackingSkillLevel / 5
- Lumberjacking Skill = 100.0
LumberjackingDamageBonus = (LumberjackingSkillLevel / 5) + 10
- A GrandMaster lumberjack will receive a +30% damage bonus
