|Skill Type||Lore / Crafting|
Item Identification is used similarly to the Arms Lore skill. However, Arms Lore focuses on providing information for already-identified items.
Usage[edit | edit source]
To identify an Unidentified Object, Press K to open your skill window and drag the Item ID skill icon to your hotbar or use directly from the skill window. If successful, the contents of the unidentified object will be revealed, and the new item will display updated information.
Town bonus[edit | edit source]
When training Item Identification in the city of Moonglow, you will benefit from an extra 10% in skill gain.
Notes[edit | edit source]
A players chance to successfully identify an object is directly correlated to his/her Item Identification skill level.
A Grandmaster (100.0 skill) will have much higher success rate to identify as opposed to a Novice (40.0). This is the same for any magic item regardless of the item's rarity. For example, a Force weapon (+5) has the same chance to be identified as a Vanquishing weapon (+9). Players with cero skill can still identify items, but they will fail very, very often.
Armor[edit | edit source]
Armor can have one or two properties:
- Suffixes represent an Armor Resistance Increase: (Defense(+5), Guarding(+10), Hardening(+15), Fortification(+20) and Invulnerability(+25));
- Prefixes represent Durability: (Durable, Substantial, Massive, Fortified and Indestructible);
Example: "Indestructible Platemail Helm of Invulnerability"
Weapons[edit | edit source]
As for weapons there were four properties.
- Damage Increase (Ruin(+1), Might(+3), Force(+5), Power(+7), and Vanquishing(+9));
- Weapon Skill Bonus (Accurate, Surpassingly Accurate, Eminently Accurate, Exceedingly Accurate and Supremely Accurate);
